Welcome to the “Quest 4 the Breast”! The purpose of our blog is to keep our friends & family up to date on our progress for the Arizona 3-Day.

What is the Arizona 3-Day you ask?? WELL … the 3-Day is just that .. a 3-day, 6o mile fund raiser for breast cancer research. I was crazy enough excited to sign up for this ‘journey’ when one of my bff’s texted me early one moring and asked if I was interested in doing the 3-day with her. Perhaps I was still asleep when I told her “YES!” because I recall my first thought being “is she freakin’ nuts? 3 DAYS — WALKING???” To be honest, I hadn’t even heard of the 3-day before but, being the type A personality that I am, I HAD to find out more .. and I did. Before I knew it, I was a woman (possessed) obsessed with the idea. A few days later, I signed up – followed shortly thereafter by my bff, neighbor and step-daughter!!

Now, Arizona was not the first choice. See my bff lives in Reading, PA so she asked me to do the walk in Philadelphia. Since the timing of that walk was not good for me and frankly, since I also grew up in Reading and had been to Philadelphia numerous times I thought “hum, why not go somewhere that we’ve never been before?” so Arizona it became!
And thus begins the journey of our 3-day!
